- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was diagnosed with scabies. Dr. P hit me with everything she had and I took all meds as directed. Even moved to a new apartment. She was kind about the co-pay and my financial situation as well. Big heads up; I still had major symptoms but the staff did not believe me. Urgent care diagnosed me as still having scabies. We learned that even though the human scabies mite cannot survive on an animal for food, it can hang out in their fur and produce the same itching symptoms, thereby reinfecting a person. Dermatologists and veterinarians don't communicate, so she wasn't aware of it. YOU MUST TREAT YOUR PET AS WELL AS YOURSELF AT THE SAME TIME, or you will get it again and again.
